Our Role as an Intermediary

Tiwala Travel and Tour Ltd provides travel services as an agent. We do not supply travel services ourselves, and all bookings are made directly with third-party providers. We are not responsible for the performance, acts, or omissions of any supplier, including issues with bookings, cancellations or services. Your legal contract is with the travel provider, not with Tiwala Travel and Tour Ltd.

Making a Booking

When you make a booking with us: Your booking request is forwarded to the travel provider. You are responsible for checking that all details—names, dates, times—are correct. Any errors must be reported immediately. Changes to your booking may incur fees, which are determined by the provider. Personal information, including health or dietary details, may be shared with providers or relevant authorities as required for your travel.

Payments and Charges

Deposits or full payments must be made according to the provider’s requirements. Full payment is due by the date specified by the provider. Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation and application of the provider’s cancellation charges. Payments for bookings may be processed either directly by Tiwala Travel and Tour Ltd or by the travel service provider. All payments are handled securely, and your booking is confirmed once payment has been received.

Travel Information and Accuracy

Information, descriptions, and images on our website are intended as general guidance. Availability, prices, and details may change without notice. We recommend checking all details before confirming your booking.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travellers take out comprehensive travel insurance. Insurance should cover cancellation, medical emergencies, repatriation, lost baggage, and other unexpected costs.

Changes and Cancellations

All changes or cancellations must be sent to us in writing. Requests are subject to the provider’s policies, which may include fees or full cancellation charges. Providers may make significant changes to your arrangements. We will assist in communicating with them but cannot assume responsibility for these changes.

Responsibility and Liability

Tiwala Travel and Tour Ltd acts only as an intermediary. While we take care to pass on all booking information accurately, we are not responsible for the provision of services by the travel provider. In the unlikely event we are found liable, our liability is limited to twice the commission earned from your booking.

Passport, Visa, and Health Requirements

We’re happy to provide general guidance on passports, visas, and health requirements for your trip. It’s your responsibility to make sure you have all the correct documents and meet entry requirements for your destination. If requirements are not met, you may face denied boarding, fines, or other costs, which would be your responsibility. For UK residents traveling to the EU, we recommend getting a UK Global Health Insurance Card (UK GHIC). In any case, having comprehensive travel insurance is strongly advised for peace of mind.

Booking Responsibility and Consent

By making a booking with Tiwala Travel and Tour Ltd, the lead traveller confirms on behalf of all persons included in the booking that:

  • They consent to the use of personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including sharing relevant details with travel service providers where required (such as health, mobility, dietary, or accessibility information).

  • They are 18 years of age or over and have the authority to make the booking on behalf of all travellers.

  • Where services have age restrictions, all members of the booking meet the applicable age requirements.

  • They accept financial responsibility for all payments relating to the booking.

Special Requirements

Any requests for special services, such as dietary needs or room preferences, must be communicated when booking. We will pass requests to the provider, but cannot guarantee they will be met and accept no liability if they are not.

Complaints

If you have any concerns about the travel services you have booked, these should be raised directly with the service provider as they are responsible for delivering the service. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws apply.

Accommodation and Service Standards

Accommodation ratings and descriptions are provided by the travel service provider and are intended as a general guide only. Standards and facilities can vary between countries and suppliers, so while we do our best to share accurate information, we cannot guarantee that all ratings or descriptions will match individual expectations.
